Scorched Earth
Set against the incredible backdrop of a secluded area in South Sydney’s Beaches, I collaborated with a wonderful friend and colleague, Ben Scott. You will remember his work from my last blog post, and he and I have worked together several times before, so I was really happy when he said yes to this little personal project ☺ Most photographers avoid midday shoots because of the harsh light, but Ben and I both love it. It brings a unique contrast that really shows off the amazing backdrop - all its colours, textures and the distinct feel of the Australian landscape. I kept the makeup really light and natural for a barely there look, and scrunched a ridiculous amount of mousse into my hair and let it dry naturally for a very be achy texture and feel. There's not a lot of accessorising in this shoot, but my fine chain and bracelets are from Opa Designs.
I think you’ll also remember Lisa Blue Swim –a company dedicated to help save dolphins and whales, and contributing to this with every sale from Lisa’ s collection. Here I’m wearing her Pegasus print bikini.
I hope you enjoy the photos, and as always, I welcome your feedback!!
